I’ve shared a lot about IVF themed products and gifts, but not everyone is into that type of thing. Or, maybe you just want to do something different.
This is a “Part 2” Blog post. You may want to check out my original post, here: Top 14 Thoughtful Gifts for IVF Support – Calm, Cool, and Casual
When I went through IVF initially for baby #1, my sister did the sweetest thing for me. She knew I had already been through a lot physically and emotionally when coming to this decision, and she knew that the process ahead would be long and stressful. She sent me a box FULL of thoughtful, wrapped gifts that I could open at me leisure. I saved most of them for the Two-Week Wait after transfer! It was so nice to have a PRESENT to look forward to unwrapping every day!

If you are able, I highly recommend doing something similar for your loved one. The gifts don’t have to be big. I’m going to go over the gifts my sister sent, as well as some other ideas!
Of course, the gifts will vary depending on the person, your relationship, and your budget!
Here are the gifts my sister sent me:
- A 4×6 picture frame with a cute, funny quote inside. This was so cute because she did a dog quote that she knew would give me a chuckle.
- Gift cards to my favorite stores (TJ Maxx & Target)
- A lucky penny with a shamrock cut out of the middle. I have no clue where she found this, but a similar idea would be this bag of good luck charms.
- A dog toy. This shows that she knows what a big part of my life my dog is, and it was very sweet of her to think of him! When creating your gift box, think about the recipient’s interests and things that mean the most to them!
- A beautiful notebook & nice pens (pictured below). Here are some similar ideas on Amazon.
- A “positive vibes” IVF theme t-shirt (pictured below). Some similar options on Amazon here and here.

7. Mini diffuser with essential oils. This is really good for relaxation during IVF and here’s some options from Amazon!
8. A little Lavendar planter kit. This was from the Target Dollar spot (another great place to find tiny gifts for a gift box!) But, they are seasonal, so here are some other adorable options from Amazon. This is such a cute idea because it gives someone a hobby or something to help pass the time. If your person isn’t into planting, you could also include a craft kit.
9. Cooling eye pads – these were cute for my eyes, of course, but also doubled as mini ice packs for injections! Highly recommend 😉
10. Nail polish – just a little something for self care! Very important!
11. Sisters Picture Book – this was so sweet and she included a nice note inside. Of course, you could just send a regular book for your loved one to read to pass the time!
At the end of the day, anything that you send for someone going through infertility/IVF is going to be so appreciated. It is a long, hard, process but having things to cheer you up, remind you you’re not alone, and help pass the time are truly invaluable.
