IVF is a rollercoaster that no one really prepares you for.
Of course, you expect the shots and the appointments, the waiting and the science. But the mental load — the way IVF can sneak into your thoughts at 2 a.m., how it makes every decision feel like life or death, how it steals your ability to breathe deeply — that part? That part took me by surprise.
After a few cycles, I realized I needed something — anything — to help me stay grounded in my own body and mind, instead of getting swept up in fear. That’s when I started using affirmations.
They weren’t magic words. They didn’t make the outcome more certain. But they did give me a little piece of calm. A way to speak to myself with compassion when everything else felt out of control.
What IVF Affirmations Gave Me
For me, affirmations were like mental guardrails.
They reminded me:
- I am more than this outcome.
- My body is working hard for me.
- I can hold both hope and fear at the same time.
I would say them in the car before appointments. I wrote them in my journal with colorful pens. I’d whisper them before my progesterone in oil shots. And on my worst days, they helped me come back to my breath, just for a second.
So, I Created an IVF Affirmation Journal
Eventually, I realized I wanted all my affirmations, thoughts, and journaling in one place — something gentle and comforting that I could return to over and over again. I knew I wanted to share this piece with others on the journey.
That’s why I created this IVF Affirmation Journal. It’s not just a journal — it’s a little safe space to come home to when your mind is spiraling and your heart is tired.
Inside the journal, you’ll find:
- Affirmations written just for IVF warriors (ones I actually used)
- Reflective journal prompts to guide you through each phase (including right after you make one of the hardest decisions – starting IVF!)
- Lined space for your thoughts, prayers, or vent sessions
- A calming design that feels soft, supportive, and peaceful
This journal is for anyone going through IVF who needs a place to land. Whether you’re just starting your journey or knee-deep in your 4th transfer, I hope it brings you comfort like it brought me.

Final Thoughts
If you’re walking the IVF road right now, I’m sending you so much love. I hope this journal reminds you that you’re not alone. That you’re allowed to feel everything. And that you are doing an amazing job just getting through today.
You are strong, even when you feel broken.
You are hopeful, even when you’re scared.
And you are deeply worthy of care, comfort, and compassion.
